No one should leave holiday meals empty-handed.
On Thanksgiving, I helped serve at Loaves & Fishes at 508 Main Street. We had to ration food and no one got leftovers.
This little project is simple: for Christmas and New Year’s, we want everyone to leave with a small “leftovers” bag — a sandwich, chips, and something sweet.
Loaves & Fishes runs the show.
All the real work, kitchens, and serving are handled by Catholic Charities of Tennessee.
